CARL DEMAIO - CONFLICTS OF INTEREST

Carl DeMaio might say he's for "fair and open contracting," but the facts show a web of special interest money and dirty dealings.

DeMaio’s committee for “fair and open contracting” was funded by the Infrastructure PAC ($123,000), Western Electrical Construction Assoc. Inc. ($30,000) and received $111,417.95 from DeMaio’s other committee – Reforming City Hall with Carl DeMaio.

Some of that funneled money also came from Bergelectric Corp., which donated $50,000 to Reforming City Hall.

The pay-outs are nearly as dirty as the pay-ins. DeMaio’s “Reforming City Hall with Carl DeMaio” committee funneled some $16,000 to Johnathan Hale – Carl DeMaio’s boyfriend.

These are conflicts of interest no matter how DeMaio may try to explain it.
